btw these dates are American you know so they're wrong basically - obviously today isn't the 11th of the 23rd. Yanks just like to be awkward eh?
well here we are at the end of another season of indian's baseball ..or sugarstone stuff in fact. lot's gone on this year. major life changes for all 4 of us and now there are only 3 of us as a result. The Macbook thing didn't real take off, monitoring was an issue but also we decided i think to be more natural, I mean just make a few small changes to the way we do the songs.
the 3 piece has had 4 outings to date 3 good & one not so good thanks to a bit of fatigue, guitar issues and a broken PA - oops, but fuck it - rock n roll.
there's a lot of new original songs popped up recently which will ideally make for a new record soon. 2011 looks like being another year. of stuff. and that. we've got quite a few gigs already lined up including some quite interesting new venue type things.

Christmas gig this year is at the wonderful Dr Browns Bar in Boro 18th Dec - should be intimate and festive as fck. later

first official outing as a 3 piece on saturday night at the pig pen farm. went pretty well & was certainly a laugh - small room, big pa, very loud. ending with a stage invasion - except no stage. like playing a gig in your front room. anyway 'you just don't get it' triggered a take-over of the mics leading to a some impromtu freeform rap malarky. class
later reconvened around the campfire with dave singing til the sun came up - not your average gig by any means....

all this time & no line up changes, we did well. but now we're down to 3. fraz will not be replaced, except by a mac which may start to appear as a guest at forthcoming events. we'll use this to augment the sound - to enable us to play stuff with more instruments than we have & make special noises from time to time
so far so good
we're playing the pigpen party sat 31st july as first outing as 3 piece with laptop - rock eh?
in september we'll be back in loftus and doc browns, rehearsals are back on & sounding good....so yeah..
